A-100 BASIC AVIATION SAFETY (FORMERLY THE B3 COMBINATION HELICOPTER/AIRPLANE SAFETY CURRICULUM)
A-100 Basic Aviation Safety is a foundation aviation safety course for DOI, USFS and Interagency personnel. In a collaborative effort, OAS Training Division worked with subject matter experts from DOI bureaus and the USFS to update and consolidate the existing B3 curriculum into one course.
 
A-100 replaces five older courses – A-101 Aviation Safety; A-105 Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE); A-106 Aviation Mishap Reporting; A-108 Preflight Checklist & Briefing/Debriefing; A-113 Crash Survival.
