Course Description:
Provides a basic understanding on the operation of aircraft radios including: VHF-AM, multi-channel and agency required radios. Covers communication requirements, radio tones and their use, and communication systems within aircraft. Also includes the use of Air Guard, frequency management, and radio discipline.
