Course Description:
Employees will learn the basics of flying an airplane in order to land an airplane should the pilot become incapacitated. Includes 1 hour of actually flying an airplane with emphasis on avoiding a stall and landing the aircraft in a controlled manner. Recommended for employees who fly as part of their job such as biologists, park rangers, etc. There is no charge for the classroom portion, but the employee's agency will have to pay for the flight time. Prerequisite: A-100. PHAK is classroom only.
